About Daxan Fresh
Daxan Fresh is the fresh-produce division of Daxan Trade, specializing in sourcing and exporting Chinese garlic for international buyers. We work with suitable suppliers in China's major garlic-producing regions and coordinate product specifications, grading, packing, and export requirements according to the needs of each market.
Our current focus is premium white garlic, with additional varieties and specifications available according to buyer requirements.
Garlic is graded by bulb diameter to meet different market, retail, and food-service requirements.

Jinxiang Garlic — A Major Garlic-Producing Region in China
Jinxiang, Shandong Province, is one of China's well-known garlic-producing regions. Daxan Fresh works with suitable suppliers in major garlic-producing areas to source products according to buyer requirements, including variety, size, quality, packing, and export specifications.
Quality Control
We work with our farmers to ensure that garlic is prepared according to the agreed product and export requirements. Depending on the order, quality checks may include appearance, cleanliness, bulb condition, sizing, packing, and other buyer-specified requirements.
From Planting to Harvest — The Garlic Growing Cycle
Chinese garlic follows a seasonal growing and harvesting cycle. The process below provides a general overview of how garlic is cultivated, harvested, and prepared before entering the export supply chain. Actual practices may vary by growing region, supplier, season, and weather conditions.
Garlic seeds
We select high-quality garlic seeds and store them in a cold storage at 2-5℃ for 15 days. This can break the dormancy period of garlic and increase the germination rate to more than 95%.
Sowing Garlic
We plant garlic in broad ridges and double rows. Every year, garlic is planted from late September to early October, when the temperature is about 18-20℃, which is very suitable for garlic planting.
Irrigating garlic
We use flood irrigation to irrigate garlic. Regular watering and drainage management help garlic achieve stable yields.
Harvest garlic scapes
When garlic stalks mature in late April, farmers begin to extract them, which can increase the quality rate of garlic bulbs to more than 95%.
Garlic harvesting
The garlic harvesting season is from the end of May to the beginning of June. When 1/3 of the garlic leaves turn yellow, the garlic is ready for harvesting.
Storing garlic Bulds
After being processed manually, the fresh garlic bulbs is stored in a cold storage at -3℃. Next, we will ship the fresh garlic to all parts of the world.
From Sorting to Shipment — Our Typical Export Process
01 — Sorting & Grading
The sorting machine will sort out qualified garlic according to the diameter of the garlic.
02 — Manual Processing
Workers carefully check each garlic and pick out the bad and unqualified ones.
03 — Retail & Bulk Packing
Garlic packaged in small mesh bags is suitable for sale in supermarkets. Each bag of garlic weighs 1 kg.
04 — Large Bag Packing
You can also choose large bags of garlic. Each bag of garlic weighs 10 kg.
05 — Carton Packing
The carton is durable, environmentally friendly and recyclable, making it convenient for garlic transportation and storage.
06 — Cold Storage -3°C
The temperature of our garlic cold storage is maintained at -3°C. To ensures the garlic is in a dormant state and locks in the freshness and nutrition of the garlic.
07 — Order Preparation & Dispatch
After we receive your order, we start making the customized garlic packaging. It takes about ten days for your order to be shipped.
08 — Sea Freight
Garlic is dispatched from Qingdao Port in China to the destination port, with transit time depending on the destination, shipping route, carrier, and season.
